This a picture describing events I experienced during my stay in Berlin, Germany. I stayed in Kreutzberg, but I would usually travel throughout the city. Everywhere I went, I needed to take the subway, or S-Bahn. The background is the lake Krumme Lanke, one of my favorite spots in Berlin. My stay was during the 2010 World Cup, so that is why you may see a person or two wearing patriotic gear. The police presence in Berlin was well known, but respectful to the citizens. Some different experiences may or may not have occurred, but this is the general idea of what happened during my stay in Berlin.
